Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Introduction
opensimfx is an open-source project publishing simulation add-ons for Blender through GitHub. This policy covers the opensimfx marketing site only. The software we distribute is governed by its own license and documentation in its repositories, not by this page.
Information we collect
Nothing, directly. The site is a set of plainly served files: there are no user accounts, no contact forms, no newsletter signup and no payment screens, so there is no form anywhere on the site through which you could give us personal information.
Automatic data and hosting
The site is served through Vercel. As with any web host, standard request data (such as your IP address and browser user agent) may be processed to deliver pages and protect the service. That processing is described in Vercel's privacy policy. Vercel acts as the processing party here; we never receive or review that raw data for this site.
We also use Vercel Analytics to count traffic. It is cookieless: it records aggregated page-view statistics (which pages are visited, referrer, general device/browser type) and stores no personal identifiers and no cookies, so no consent banner is required.
Cookies and tracking
We use no cookies of any kind — advertising, analytics or otherwise — and no fingerprinting. The analytics described above are cookieless, so no consent banner is needed and nothing sets cookies. Browsing this site anonymously is possible and is the default.
External links and services
Links from this site lead to third-party services we do not operate — GitHub (where our code and issue trackers live) and blender.org. Their own privacy terms apply once you leave this site; we recommend reading them before creating an account or posting an issue there.
Your choices
Because the site collects no personal data, there is nothing to request, export, correct or delete, and no account to close. If you believe otherwise or have a privacy question, contact us through the channel below and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If the site ever adds features that change what this policy says (sign-up, analytics, downloads from this domain), we will update this page and change the date above before the feature goes live.
Contact
The fastest way to reach us is the issue tracker on GitHub: opensimfx/blastfx issues.
